The Comfy Gambit privacy policy

Last updated · 2 November 2026

This policy covers The Comfy Gambit, the Android chess game developed by Shiro Games. The game is in development. For questions about your information, email abdmaher01@gmail.com.

Your chess progress

The game saves campaign results, unfinished positions, Daily Match records, hearts, hints and preferences on your device. These records let you resume play, track completed puzzles and remember your settings. The campaign and Daily Match can be played offline.

Optional advertising and purchases

Rewarded ads and Premium purchases are planned features. The current development configuration keeps ad requests and real purchases disabled while their setup is pending.

If rewarded ads become available, Unity LevelPlay and Google AdMob may process device or advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location, ad interactions and diagnostics to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud. Google’s User Messaging Platform manages applicable advertising choices. Device advertising controls are also available in Android settings.

If Premium becomes available, Google Play and Unity In-App Purchasing handle the purchase. The game uses product, receipt and entitlement information to verify and restore ownership. Shiro Games does not receive your payment-card details.

Read the Unity player privacy policy and Google privacy policy for provider practices.

Support and retention

If you contact Shiro Games, we receive your email address, your message and any attachments you send. We use them to respond and troubleshoot. We retain correspondence as needed to resolve the issue. Records may also be retained where required by law or needed to resolve a dispute.

Your choices and deletion requests

To erase the game’s local save, open Android Settings, select The Comfy Gambit under Apps, then open Storage and clear the app’s data. This removes local progress. Device backup settings may affect what is restored after a reinstall.

To ask for access, correction or deletion of records held by Shiro Games, email abdmaher01@gmail.com. Tell us what you want removed. We may ask for information needed to locate the record. Clearing local storage does not remove emails or a store provider’s records.

We will update this page as the game and its services change.
